::Amount of fabric required

For 20cm and 25cm – 1/2 METRE length x at least 75cm wide

For 30cm, 35cm and 40cm – 1/2 METRE length x at least 140cm wide

For 45cm and 50cm – 1 METRE length x at least 160cm wide (If the fabric length is shorter, the fabric will be joined together resulting in 2 seams on the finished shade)

Type of fabric 

Cotton, lightweight linen mix fabrics are best, and nothing too heavy or that frays easily. If your fabric has a directional pattern, please let us know, so that we can match the pattern placement. (Any surplus material will be returned to you).  If you are unsure about your fabric choice or wallpaper, please message me.

Wallpaper 

The amount of wallpaper required, will depend on the width of the roll and the size lampshade you want to make. If your wallpaper is patterned, then more wallpaper is required for pattern matching.

::FIVE EASY STEPS:

1. Purchase this item, choosing the size of lampshade and its use.
2. I will contact you to go over your order in finer detail, and give you my address to post your fabric or wallpaper
3. Post your fabric/wallpaper to me. (Wallpaper must be posted in a tube, to avoid creasing).
4. I do my magic, and create your brand new lampshade
5. Delivery: Your new lampshade is packaged safely and sent to you via courier or Royal Mail.  (Please allow up to 3 days). Any surplus fabric will be returned to you also.

Our shades are handmade with professionally rolled edges, and fitted with a dual UK/European fitting and flame retardant PVC lining. The use of low energy bulbs are recommended (60 watts or less). Components have passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association.

Whilst every effort is made to match patterns, sometimes placement may vary slightly. There is a single seam at back.
